Scrumptious White Chana & Sweet Potato Patties

Fibre Rich Scrumptious

INGREDIENTS 

  • 1 Cup Boiled Chana
  • 3 Green Chillies Chopped
  • 1 Medium Sweet Potato Boiled
  • Khus Khus / Poppy Seeds
  • 2 tsp Ginger garlic Paste
  • 2 tbsp Cumin Powder
  • 12 cup seasonal greens ( I took red Amranth/ Chaulai here)
  • ½ tsp homemade garam masala
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • Handful fresh Coriander
  • Himalayan salt as per taste
  • 2 tsp coconut oil
  • Freshly crushed pepper

Recipe

  • Using a blender Pulse the seasonal greens, to this add sweet potatoes, Chickpeas , onions and pulse again to get a coarse mixture.
  • Transfer this in to a mixing bowl and add rest of the ingredients. Mix well and make small patties. I love baking these in the oven, you can pan grill them too!
  • I served these with a side salad of charred red & yellow peppers, green onions and purple cabbage! These go really well with vegetable soup or just top these up on a Toast with some Guacamole …Slurrrp!!
